Bardie Somerville is a qualified carpenter, site manager and passionate advocate for women in trades. Best known as the winner of Network Ten’s The Bridge, she inspires audiences with her resilience, authenticity and determination to empower women. Her firsthand experience in construction has fuelled her mission to encourage more women to pursue careers in traditionally male-dominated industries.
Bardie also champions mental wellness and breaking cycles that hold people back. Currently renovating her own home, she shares her journey and carpentry skills with her growing Instagram community, @bards.builds, inspiring others to create the homes of their dreams.
